The Senior Behavioral Health Unit (SBHU) at the Suburban Behavioral Health Campus of Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a dedicated 15-bed inpatient facility catering to adults aged 55 and older. This unit provides voluntary behavioral health services for individuals who require a short-term inpatient stay. We offer treatment for various conditions, including but not limited to depression, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.
Our SBHU focuses on educating both patients and their families to effectively manage their conditions and support ongoing recovery. We work collaboratively to develop healthier coping strategies and establish a comprehensive follow-up plan for post-discharge care.
