Smoke-Free Campus
The Suburban Behavioral Health Campus of Roxborough Memorial Hospital and Suburban Medical Group maintain a smoke-free environment in East Norriton. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds, including within vehicles. This policy is in place to safeguard the health and wellness of our patients, visitors, and staff.
During your stay, we are committed to providing you with exceptional clinical care, delivered with compassion and respect.
Visitor Guidelines
We encourage loved ones to visit patients and we make every effort to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and visitors. While receiving care, patients have the right to decide who may or may not visit, and those visitors are allowed without regard to race, color, national origin, language, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or socioeconomic status.
Our staff and caregivers understand the important role that visitors and support persons play and every effort is made to ensure that our patients’ support person is embraced as a valued member of the care team.
We uphold the philosophy of open visiting hours whenever possible. To ensure the well-being and safety of our patients and caregivers, we kindly ask that you comply with our visitation policy:

At Suburban Behavioral Health Campus of Roxborough Memorial Hospital, each inpatient is allowed to have two visitors or support persons at a time, unless otherwise approved by the nursing supervisor. Please note that there may be exceptions to this policy. For further clarification, we encourage you to reach out to one of our medical teams.

To maintain a comfortable environment for all patients, visitors are encouraged to speak quietly and leave promptly at the conclusion of visiting hours.
- During an outbreak of a communicable disease, Suburban Behavioral Health Campus of Roxborough Memorial Hospital may impose restrictions on visitors to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Visiting times and the number of visitors may be limited based on specific circumstances and will vary by unit to protect the health, safety, and privacy of our patients.

Visitors are required to adhere to infection control protocols, keep noise to a minimum, and comply with restrictions regarding smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances.

Photography and videography are not permitted on hospital premises.

If you are feeling unwell or have a contagious illness, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting.

Please wash your hands before entering and after leaving your loved one’s room.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may not be left unattended.

Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
General Visiting Hours
Senior Behavioral Health Unit:
Monday through Friday: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Please note that clinical staff may ask visitors to step out of patient rooms if necessary for treatment.

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Friday – 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday – Closed
Suburban Family Medicine at Norristown
Office Hours:
Monday-Friday- 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday – Closed
